Creator Spotlight ⭐️ Praarthana of Creating Plans

Hi Praarthana, so glad we can get to know you! Can you tell us about yourself and how you learned about Hooga? 

My name is Praarthana and I am currently a student pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course in India.

CA is a very strenuous course and I discovered that blog writing and sharing content publicly was a great way to let off steam. I started off with my blog, sharing journaling ideas and study tips, and slowly discovered a community on Instagram as well. I discovered Anh's YouTube channel through her midcentury apartment makeover video and have followed her ever since. Through her, I heard about The Hooga Shop and have loved the products, especially the colouring pages and the devotional journal. 

How lovely! So what is the mission of your brand?

What has been the process of building your brand, and where do you desire to take it in the future?

The starter kit has helped me tie in a colour scheme and have a more coordinated and consistent looking brand on various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, and my blog). I used The Hooga Shop's graphics for my YouTube thumbnail and banner, for posting stories on my Instagram (I mainly post study related to-do lists on my Instagram stories) and for my story highlights. I also used some of the calming music tracks from The Hooga Shop for my YouTube videos. 

After I'm done with my studies, I definitely want to dedicate much more time into blog writing and the research process of it. I hope to put out much more valuable and well thought out content, which will be helpful to many. I also want to launch many products in my shop, which I'm passionate about, like stationery or planners and journals. Let's see what God has in store! :)

What is one piece of advice that you would give someone who is starting her own cozy brand?

Don't be heavily focused on the numbers and engagement. It will grow organically, if you are consistent and post content relating specific to your target audience. You can also try collaborating with other accounts or brands similar to yours and mutually help each other grow.
